Apple Ipod Touch Review

This is my review of the Apple 8GB Ipod Touch and Apps and why I purchased an Ipod Touch..

I started out and I was so excited about getting an Apple Ipod Touch back in January 2010, because I had checked out every feature of the Ipod Touch and decided it was time to purchase it. Now, I knew I had to check out some of the deals online before going into a store to purchase, so I checked out the Amazon website on the Ipod Touch. Once there I saw that they had the Ipod Touch for $180, that was 19 and plus cheaper than at the store. So, I went ahead and purchased it but I also wanted to get a discount on the shipping as well, so I checked out this new program called the Amazon Prime program. It is $79/year but it is well worth it because you can get free shipping on any product any size and any time and if you want one day shipping it is only $3.99 compared to paying over $20 for one day shipping. After I had signed up for Amazon Prime, I ordered my Ipod Touch and I was ready for it.

Once I received it, I was so amazed at the screen size of the Ipod which is 3.5 by the way and after charging the Ipod up which only took 1 hour, I started fooling around with it. After checking out all the programs on the Ipod Touch, I wanted to personalize my Ipod Touch. So, I set up my e-mail accounts from the e-mail button, which came to 6 accounts total. That means I can access my e-mail accounts from just touching a program and it taking only a few seconds to access. Afterwards, I set up my Itunes account, so I can purchase and receive free games on Itunes. I downloaded Rock Band for $6.99 and received some other games for free like Sudoku and Solitaire.

I also downloaded this good game called MyTown and it is fun. On the game, you purchase businesses around your local area with Booyah money from the game to collect rent from and to upgrade to bigger buildings. The more buildings you own, the more rent you collect. If you invite friends to Booyah, you receive special bonuses to your MyTown account. You also have to check into your buildings to get points to move to the next level. Each level raises the points up for you to achieve and you receive special bonuses on that as well. Overall, it is a great game. I am on Level 44 right now with 1,500,000 points and 3,900,000,000 in money.

I absolutely love the YouTube and Safari browser button on the Ipod because it gives easy access to millions of videos and one of fastest leading browser to view web pages. The Ipod Touch also has a world clock and Google Maps button. I love Google Maps because if you get lost all you have to do is hit that button to let you know where are you are. It is also good to use it for a GPS because it gives you options to put in where you are going and gives the estimate mileage and estimate time you will get there. It gives you the easiest directions for you to use on your way to your destination.

What I like about the Apple Ipod Touch is that you can use it for anything like music, web browsing, games, fitness, and e-mail. Itunes have included so many apps for Ipod users to access ranging from accessing your bank account to knowing your due date for pregnancy. It has everything you need and the Ipods will be around for a very long time. Thanks Apple.
